User Data Deletion

This page explains how you can request the deletion of your personal data associated with the use of the EuroVisa service (eurovisa.hr). The procedure applies to all users, including those who have signed up or logged in via Facebook (Meta) Login.

What can be deleted

• User account data (name, email, user ID, profile settings)
• Data obtained via Facebook Login (name, email, Facebook User ID, profile picture – if stored)
• Communication and inquiries you have sent to us through the website
• Optional marketing data and consents (if applicable)

Note: Certain data must be retained as required to fulfill legal obligations (e.g., accounting records) and/or to protect legal claims. Backup copies are periodically deleted/rotated; data contained in backups will not be actively processed and will be permanently removed according to the backup deletion schedule.

How to request data deletion

Send an email to info@eurovisa.hr with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request” and include:

• Full name
• Email address associated with your account
• Whether the account was created using Facebook Login
• (Optional) any additional information that can help us identify your account

For privacy protection, we may ask for additional identity verification (e.g., confirmation via the email address linked to your account).

Response times

• We will respond to your request as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days.
• In complex cases, the deadline may be extended by an additional 30 days, and you will be informed accordingly.

Facebook (Meta) users

If you used Facebook Login:

• Deleting your data will also remove any information we received from Facebook and disconnect your EuroVisa account from your Facebook account.
• Note: Facebook may continue to process your information in accordance with its own policies. For more information, please refer to the Meta Privacy Policy.

What happens after deletion

• Your user account and associated data will be deleted or anonymized.
• Where technically feasible, identifiers will be pseudonymized/removed from active systems and supporting logs.
• Data that we are legally required to retain will be limited to the minimum necessary and accessible only to authorized personnel.
